SCOPE OF WORK & DELIVERABLES
Phase 1
Planning & Design

Project Setup

Your website begins with a thorough, deep-dive into every page that you have set up for carefreeofcolorado.com. We will create a clone of your website using our platform. This is the “band-aid” method that we discussed to quickly get the website to a standpoint where it’s manageable (the ability to add/remove products, change content, remove the top bar, etc.).

Note: This does not include any work on the e-carefree.com website for product configurations.

Your project’s success depends on a solid foundation, this work is crucial.

Your new website will be created on a staging domain as to not interrupt any current business or website traffic.

Additional Content

We know that you may have additional content that is supporting the primary conversion pages that we are helping you with. We will help you organize and load this content into the content management system when ready. You will have the ability to change the content in our system as often as you like.

Our disclaimer is that this content development or entry does not hold up the project process or our project milestones. Payment must not be withheld due to this content.

DELIVERABLES:

    • Content inventory
    • Additional Products Added To Inventory

    Website Development

We will create a custom website design that is identical to your current live website. Using your branding, colors, functionality requirements, and best usability practices.

Your website will consist of a combination of convention and creativity to make sure that your visitors can find the content they need and inquire about your services. We design and code to the highest of standards and always keep up with industry trends.

    Mobile Design

Visitors browsing your site from other device types account for 50% or more of your website traffic. Our platform is developed with responsive features that will make browsing from desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones an enjoyable experience. We will accomplish this by making your site “responsive” to various browser sizes.

    DELIVERABLES:

    • 1 mobile concept
    • 1 tablet concept
    • Device testing – iPhone, iPad, Android, and Tablet

    Design and features

    DELIVERABLES:

    • Fully functional website
    • Google Analytics install
    • Google Webmaster tools setup

    Phase 2
    Design Approval

    Design Approval

After we’ve completed the planning and design phase, you’ll be able to login to your new site where you’ll be able to browse each page and approve your new design. You may request any revisions to any pages during this phase. Only after you approve the design will we begin phase 3.

    Training

Included in this initial project will be a 30-minute to one-hour training session via conference call to covering the following topics:

    • Basic website management
    • Additional custom modules
    • Analytics

In addition, you’ll have access to our training platform with access to all of the tutorial videos that we’ve created so far to help you manage your website.

    Phase 3
    Launch

    Completion

After you have approved your new design, we perform a quality assurance review of each web page to make it meets scope specification.

We then point your domain to our hosting server and your new website will be live and accessible to the public.

This process only takes about 1 hour for us to complete. We will schedule this process at a date and time that will be least likely to interrupt your business operations. This date will be considered as your “Launch Date”. (Do keep in mind that DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate. However, this is extremely rare.)

    METHODOLOGY

    How it Works

Lets start off by looking at the steps we’ll be taking to get your project from start to finish.

    1. Discovery – through a process of surveys and meetings we’ll gather all the information we need to have the best understanding of your business and goals.

    2. Architecture – just like a building, a website needs a solid blueprint. Together we’ll determine the best way to organize your website and sketch out a rough outline.

    3. Content – with a solid blueprint in place it will be your job to collect, organize, edit, and deliver to us content for each page of the website.

    4. Design – at the same time you are working on content our team will be creating non-functioning comprehensive layouts showing possible design directions.

    5. Development – with all the necessary architecture, content, and design elements in hand we’ll create the first working version of your website.

    6. Launch – getting your website “go live” ready will inevitably require several rounds of revisions and polish.  Once the website is ready, we’ll go through the final launch checklist.

    7. Warranty – your site is now live!  Over the next several weeks our team will be training you on how to manage the website and helping you solve any issues.

    Communicating Effectively

During your project communication will be non-stop with emails, phone calls, and online meetings.  Here is how we make it happen.
